Welcome back!
Young drivers are not as safe on the road as older drivers are. Young drivers are more likely to get others injured, lose their lives, or being injured themselves. In the UK, people under the age of twenty five are three times more likely to die in a car crash.
According to studies, somebody over the age of forty has a decreased chance of being involved in an accident than teenage drivers.Within six months of passing their driving test, one in five new drivers will be involved in a car crash.
Young girls are less likely to get into an accident than young boys. Females are shown to drive less than males, and they take less risks while on the road.Young drivers get more of a thrill from driving fast and speeding around corners than older drivers do. Young males normally do not like to drive at or under the speed limit, because they feel as if they have to impress their friends while driving.
After a car crash, young males are more likely to fail a breath test. Drug use, lack of experience, and alcohol use makes driving dangerous to everybody. If you are caught drinking and driving, your license will be taken away. Also you could face six months in jail, and pay more for your auto insurance.
In the late evening hours or early morning hours, the hours in which young drivers are more likely to be either drunk or on drugs, is the time when they have the most accidents. At night, young drivers think they can pay less attention to the roads, and that they can speed because the roads are much quieter. Also a recent form of young driver insurance reflects this fact by offering large discounts for drivers who who don’t use the car at these most dangerous times. Many young drivers think because the roads are quieter at night, then it is safe for them to speed and pay less attention.Young drivers also think that because other people are not wearing their seatbelts, they don’t have to either.
